Account Deletion Policy

1. Overview

Users of Hello Wallet – Money Management have full control over their account and personal data.You can request permanent deletion of your account at any time directly from the app or by contacting us.

This section explains how account deletion works and what happens to your data.

Data Retention: After deleting your account, we do not store the deleted account’s data in our systems.

2. How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly from the mobile app by following these steps:

Open the Hello Wallet app
Go to Profile
Scroll down and tap “Delete Account”
Follow the steps:
- Step 1: Review warning message
- Step 2: Select a reason for deletion
- Step 3: Confirm deletion
Tap “Confirm” to permanently delete your account

Method 2: Request via Support (If unable to access app)

If you cannot access your account, you can request deletion by:

3. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you confirm account deletion:

Your account will be permanently deleted
All associated data (transactions, settings, history) will be removed
You will lose access to all app features and services
This action is irreversible

4. Data Retention (If Applicable)

In some cases, certain data may be retained for a limited period:

To comply with legal obligations
To prevent fraud or abuse
For security and audit purposes

Any retained data will not be used for personal identification or marketing.

5. Processing Time

In-app deletion: Immediate or within 24 hours
Manual requests: Up to 7 working days

6. Important Notes

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
You cannot recover your account once deleted
You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again
